Dame Shirley Bassey is desperate to work with Kanye West - after the rapper/producer impressed her with his sampling of her hit "Diamonds Are Forever" in 2005. And Bassey is reportedly keen to work around the "Stronger" hitmaker's schedule to see the collaboration come into fruition. A source says, "She's had a brilliant year. Her performance at (British music festival) Glastonbury went down better than anyone had expected. "She wants to do a duets record and it depends on when her schedule coincides with Kanye."
