Bueller?

Howdy peoples... It's been a minute since my last post on the old blog, but now I'm back... To let YOU know.. I can really shake 'em down.

But seriously folks.... Things have been groovy 'round here. The wife & I went out to Coney Island for the day this past Wednesday, rode The Cyclone, jumped on The Wonder Wheel, ate a bunch of horrifically-bad-for-you (but incredibly delicious) food, and had a real swell time. While Coney Island is the home to many things, it is it's connection to the 1979 film THE WARRIORS that makes the biggest impression on me. I shot a bunch of video, and will post on Youtube once I've edited something together.

Other than that, all is well. I've had FANTASTIC luck on the record digging front recently. Lots of tasty stuff @ FAB prices:

Beatles "Let It Be" (original gatefold press with the red Apple label)  * EXCELLENT condition.  $2.00

The Clash "The Story of The Clash Vol. 1" : DOUBLE gatefold vinyl LP * NM/MINT condition. $2.00

The Partridge Family - "At Home With Their Greatest Hits" : Original Vinyl LP : EXCELLENT condition. $1.00 (stop chuckling!)

David Bowie - "Changes Two" : Original Pressing: EX/NM condition. $1.00

Rush - "Moving Pictures" : Original pressing (opened, but still in the original shrink) NM/MINT condition: $2.50

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest Motion Picture Soundtrack : Original press: EX/NM condition - However missing the poster of Jack :(  $1.00

Without disclosing precise locations of my finds, let's just say I found the LP's at undisclosed locations in the NJ area! LOL.. I scored a bunch more, but those are just some highlights.

I just LOVE being at the right place at the right time. It's always to get sweet wax @ silly prices. Problem is, I CAN'T STOP DIGGING!

Anyways, just a quick update. I hope to be a-bloggin' more often than I have been. Oh yeah, and I'll have some new wacky "Record Collection" videos up on Youtube soon. Stay chuned. - Ace:)
