from undercover.com.au - by Paul Cashmere

Alanis Morissette has just about completed her new studio album 'Flavors of Entanglement'.

The Canadian star will release the album early in 2008, in time for her US tour with Matchbox Twenty.

'Flavors Of Entanglement' will be her first studio album since 2004's 'So Called Chaos'.

Alanis has sold more than 40 million albums since the release of her American debut 'Jagged Little Pill' in 1995. (She released two albums as a child star in Canada).

As well as the new album and tour in 2008, Alanis will star in her first lead movie role for the flick 'Sylvia', based on the Philip K. Dick novel 'Radio Free Albemuth'.

Her previous big screen roles include the part of God in 'Dogma' (1999) and as a musical performer in 'De-Lovely' (2004).
